Proverb 4:23 says" Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life( New American Standard Bible), Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (King James Version).

 We must watch over our hearts!

 Watch means:"To keep awake, to be alert, as against danger or attack. To watch over and guard for protection and safe keeping. To keep under surveillance, close, constant observation."
