Hebrew 2:18 says: "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted".
From the above scripture we could see how caring our Lord Jesus is for those that are being tempted or afflicted especially in the christian race.

The Christian life is a process and not a single event, and as a process, you are expected to move from one stage to another, and in the course of your christian race, many challenges, horrible situation will come your way but never truncate your journey to heaven and being rewarded by our Lord Jesus, because of any unpleasant experience.

While many see what is before them as a worrisome race, our Lord Jesus saw the same as a joyous event. Therefore, one way you can run this race victoriously is by ignoring the challenges-mockery,ridiculed etc. that are on the way, and focusing on the rewards that awaits you on the other side.

Remember that after the present unpleasant experiences comes the glorious, eternal experience of joy etc, awaiting you on the other side.
