THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Jesus is the Maker,"the Changer and Re-writer of history.

The most powerful and mysterious event in the history of mankind was the birth of Jesus Christ. The Christmas season is a time set aside by Christians to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is, therefore, important to know that there is a power surrounding the birth of Christ.

Now, what is the power of Christmas?

1. The Power of Unnatural Conception

The conception of Jesus took place without the biological process of conception. It was the demonstration of the supremacy of Divinity. 

This implies that every time you are at a junction of your life and a natural law is trying to clash with a spiritual law, the natural must give way for the spiritual. The physical must give way for the Divine.

2. The Power that Changed History

The birth of Christ became the demarcation point of history. Every event before the birth of Christ is termed, “BC”, that is, before Christ. And every subsequent event, that is, event after the birth of Christ is termed": “AD”,"that is, Anno Domini, Latin for, In the Year of our Lord. Thus Jesus Christ became the central part of history. If Jesus Christ is removed from history, the arrangement of history will scatter. Jesus is the Maker, the Changer and the Re-writer of history.

Beloved, if Jesus is the Lord of your life, He has the capacity to re-write the history of your life and give you a desired future.

REMEMBER THIS": Jesus is the Maker,"the Changer and the Re-writer of history.

PRAYER: O Lord,"I thank You for the benefits of redemption. I ask that You change every negative history in my life and grant me my desired future, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

We serve a glorious God who created man in His image to live a glorious life. God created man and crowned him with glory (Psalms 8:4-5). We are not permitted to carry Christ in us and live in shame. We are not permitted to be connected to Christ and be swallowed up in mockery. God has called us to virtue and glory and not to reproach and mockery (2 Peter 1:3). 

PRAYER: O Lord,"I ask for the full manifestation of Your glory on my life. Let Your glory swallow every contrary thing in my life and destiny, in Jesus name.

Ephesians 5:25 says"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;"

At one time, a newly married young man was shouting at his 20 years old wife and his father called him aside and said to him, 'We only shout at people our shouts or threats can frighten. But not to your wife. 

The way you are shouting, you are giving away your power to your wife.  Your threats make her stronger. Most men believe that when a woman is threatened, she gets subdued,  but women are not changed with fear.

 A woman may  stay quiet when a man is threatening and shouting at her but she is not sitting down inside her. She is evaluating the man's weakness and how to subdue him rather.

 Cast your mind back to those days men used to  beat their wives flippantly at slightest provocations, today most of  those men are older and they suffering consequences

 Those women their husband were beating years back are the ones enjoying the marriage with their children today, the mothers have their children's sympathy, the men are at the receiving end.

Let it become clear to men that the way into a woman's heart is not to try to threaten and subdue her. God spoke to men and said, 'Husbands, love your wife'. Do you need an elaborate explanation of this scripture? Love makes women weak. When you truly love a woman and show it, she will submit to you without qualms. But when a woman has sensed that she is just like your toy, you just want to use her or you are domineering and controlling, the spirit of rebellion takes over her. She might not physically stand on your way but she is plotting coup against you and one day, you will sit and watch her and her children force you to follow their rules or die quicker.

Almost all the great and fierce kings you know died before their wives. They lived all through their lives threatening their fellow men and wives. They were able to kill most of their strong fellow men but all the women they threatened stayed alive. Women know how to survive against men. 

The 'lion' in men does not scare women or get them to submit to you, it is love that conquers a woman, not force or threats. This might subdue fellow men, but not your wife. Women naturally know how  to survive pains. They can walk to the fearful serpent and make their demands. They have resilient spirit.

There are things women fear but not the lion inside men. They can submit and respect their men so foolishly that you imagine that there is no gut inside them. They have guts men don't have, love your woman into submission.

Men  don't have compatible or cordial relationship with women by showing the lion inside them. God knew women before us and begged that we show love than threats. He gave men the formula, recipe for a blissful, joyous and fulfilled homes, LOVE YOUR WIFE!

This formula of loving your wife will help you win her.  When a woman is loved, you break all her guts and she stays in your hands. A woman can do anything to stay with a man who is honestly in love with Her.

 Talk gently to your wife, love her, pet her, don't shout at her, and you will win her and make your points!

Do not arrogantly display your weakness as a man by shouting.

Life is full of tough decision

Isaiah 30:21 says''And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.''

Beloved, their is always a time in our life time when we will be faced with tough situation that involve critical decision, and what we do at the moment could turn our life around positively or not. It doesn't matter what people are saying or doing but we need to pause and ask God for direction.

 

The story below is a perfect example  for the dilemma we often face in any decision making.

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other not.

Only one child played on the unused track, the rest on the operational track.

A train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the unused track and save most of the kids.

However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the unused track would be sacrificed.

Or would you rather let the train go its way?

Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make................

have u thought enough !!!!

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. Save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.

But, have you ever thought that the child chose to play on the unused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was.

This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the RIGHT is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how far-sighted and knowledgeable the wise are.

The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track were aware that the track was still in use, and that they would run away when they hear the train's sirens.

Now, If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never expects that a train could come over on the unused track!

Further, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to such a track, we may put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in our attempt to save few kids thinking that the train may run over them, we might end up sacrificing hundreds of people.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decision may not always be the right one.

Making Impact:  Majoring in the minor and minoring in the major

It has been confirmed that the quality of your spirituality determines the quality of your destiny. Until your spiritual life is in order, your natural life is out of order. The real needs of man are spiritual needs, and until spiritual needs are met, physical needs are not met.

Beloved, you have not succeeded in life until you have succeeded with God. For instance, as a medical student, if you have distinction in an elective course like General Studies (GIS) but fail your core courses like Human  Anatomy and Biochemistry; you have not excelled at all in what will make you a doctor. This is how life is, when your spirituality is neglected, even if you have money, fame, political influence, or have traveled round the world, you have not succeeded in putting the first thing last and the last things first. You have not excelled at all if you have not excelled in maintaining quality spirituality. That shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

Majoring in the minor and minoring in the major; that is how most people live their lives. Some people are physically good looking and robust on the outside but ugly and thin in the spirit. This is not correct.

Beloved, my counsel is, develop a quality relationship with God because if your spiritual life is not working, you are in a state of emergency. Life is all about developing quality relationship with your creator.

Remember this,'' Until your spiritual life is in order, your natural life is out of order''.

Always do the following:

1) Decide to give priority attention to your spirituality

2) Endeavor to succeed with God before you succeed with men and in the things of life.

3) Develop the discipline of consistent prayer life and study of the Word.

Prayer: O Lord, give me the grace to maintain  a quality relationship with you. Help me not to succeed in other things in life at the expense of my quality relationship with You, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen

In the realm of the spirit, gates and doors are mounted by the enemy to do the following:

A) cause limitation

 B) Serve as a stumbling block

 C) Obstacles to open doors

 D) Retardation/ Stagnation

 E) Resistance

God has promised you that He" will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:³ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel."(Isaiah 45:2-3)

No one can have open doors of breakthroughs until he pulls down every evil doors.Yes, you can't have hidden treasures of darkness delivered to you and the glory of the King of heaven revealed in your life until demonic gates of brass and bars of iron are demolished.

Prayer is a tool to make your dream come to pass. Prayer is a mighty force in the hands of Christians to secure a glorious destiny. It is a force that makes the believer in Christ Jesus to become a force to be reckoned with in life.

Prayer helps to terminate confusion and create divine direction in the journey of fulfillment of your dreams.It takes prayer to command divine presence and divine power. It takes prayer to provoke help from above.

If you need a divine help to actualize your dreams then plug into the power of prayer.
