Thanks-living

Psalm 69:30NKJV says:"I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving".

If you don't take thanksgiving serious, it shows you don't take God serious.

Thanksgiving is the expression of your gratitude to God. I believe you know that if it has not been God on your side you couldn't be alive to see today, so it behooves you to end the first quarter with nothing but praises that emanate from a grateful heart.

Many believers pray fervently but very few give thanks fervently. Thanksgiving is a commandment and it brings pleasure to God. Failure to do this is setting yourself up for a life of frustration. No one takes God for granted and that is not grounded in life. The future of the un-thankful is sure, he can never succeed. 

Beloved, it doesn't matter what you think God has not done for you, the only thing expected of you is to go into ceaseless giving of thanks to God. Those who complain and grumble will only attract divine wrath. When you are thanks- dry you'll be God- dry, because it takes giving praise to attract the presence of God. 

I put it to you that God has been the Wind behind your wings and the Brain behind your gain, and there is no way you can possibly pay for what He has done for you other than to let praise emanate from your heart continually to Him.

No matter the situation, give thanks because all things will eventually work out for your good. Friends, the peak of faith is praise and there is no unbelief like ingratitude.

Thanksgiving is good but thanks living is far greater. This is when you move from giving thanks to God, to living a life of thanks to God. At this point you will never look for God, He Himself will look for you and abide with you.

As you enter into the last half of the year, determine to live a life of thanks to God and you will enjoy the fullness of the blessings of His presence.

Spend quality time to give God thanks and praise for His faithfulness over your life and family and substantiate your thanksgiving with befitting offering.

There is Power in His Name

Philippians 2:10 (NLT) says: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow; of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.”

The name of Jesus belongs to us as believers; we have the right to use the Name of Jesus, and that right is a blessing given to the Church and to every child of God. We have a fourfold right to use the Name: 

Firstly, we’re born into the family of God and the Name belongs to the family. Secondly, we are baptized into the Name, and being baptized into the Name, we are baptized into Christ Himself. Thirdly, the Name was conferred upon us by Jesus Christ, He gave us the power of authority, and fourthly, we are commissioned as ambassadors to go and herald the Name of Jesus Christ among the nations as His representatives. 

Truth is, you don’t need any special faith to engage the Name of Jesus Christ, because it already belongs to us. Just as you don’t need any special faith to get into your car and drive; you wouldn’t think about saying, “Pastor KK., I want you to pray for me that I’ll have enough faith to put the key in the ignition of my car and drive home.” No, you already know that you have the key in your pocket, and you know what to do with it, so you act in faith. You see, it takes knowing what is yours. When you come to know that the Name of Jesus Christ is yours and that you have right to use that Name, you’ll begin to use it as unconsciously as you use the key to start your car. 

CONFESSION

I am a child of God and the Name of Jesus Christ belongs to me; I engage the Name of Jesus Christ and the authority He has given me through His Name to condition situations and circumstances to work in my favor, in Jesus’ Name! 

KEEP IN MIND

The name of Jesus and the authority in His Name belongs to you, use it.

The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine. Pro 4:18 MSG

Greatness in life is not free; progress in life and career will never happen by chance, and success is not by luck. Attention to details is one of the catalysts for success.

Please, never leave your life to chance, there's nothing like 'what will be will be' or 'what God will do God will do'. That's the mindset of a failure.

 

PRAYER

Father, I receive grace to commit to my personal development in the second half of the year and to always be ready to discern and seize opportunities thereby experiencing rapid progress in every aspect of my life and career in Jesus Name.

KEEP IN MIND

If you leave your life to chance, you will never have a chance.

Psalm 65:11 says"You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance".  

Beloved, today the LORD will remember His covenant and honor your life in the name of Jesus. 

 HE will remember His promise and visit your situation.

 HE will once again remember His words and give you victory over all your challenges and trials in JESUS name.

 

 I release confusion into the camp of any adversary planning your downfall and l command every crafty enemy and crafty devices to fall into disgrace now in JESUS name. 

 

Every strongman delegated to hinder your progress in life; be roasted by the fire of the HOLY GHOST.

 

I command every spiritual cord of delay denying you of your miracle to catch fire now in JESUS MIGHTY name. 

 

Remain richly blessed and walk in the miraculous glory and  mercy of God.

Our life belongs to God

Mathew 16:26 says"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

 

When you see a man selling handkerchiefs and still sweating profusely in traffic, it tells you that possession is not the same as ownership! Our life belongs to God; We're only having it, but we don't own it. Sensitivity is required of us before the owner ask for it.

The last wishes of Alexander the Great.........

On his death bed, Alexander summoned his army generals and told them his three ultimate request :

 

1. The best doctors should carry his coffin ...

 

2. The wealth he has accumulated (money, gold, precious stones) should be scattered along the procession to the cemetery ...

 

3. His hands should be let loose, so they hang outside the coffin for all to see !!

 

One of his generals who was surprised by these unusual request asked Alexander to explain .

Here is what Alexander the Great had to say :

 

1. "I want the best doctors to carry my coffin to demonstrate that in the face of death , even the best doctors in the world have no power to heal .."

 

2. "I want the road to be covered with my treasure so that everybody sees that material wealth acquired on earth , will stay on earth.."

 

3. I want my hands to swing in the wind, so that people understand that we come to this world empty handed and we leave this world empty handed after the most precious treasure of all is exhausted, and that is : TIME.

 

We do not take to our grave any material wealth. TIME is our most precious treasure because it is LIMITED. We can produce more wealth, but we cannot produce more time.

 

When we give someone our time, we actually give a portion of our life that we will never take back . Our time is our life !. 

 

The best present that you can give to your family is your time and to God is your life.

Grace to work and live worthy for Him

Colossians 1:10 says"that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God". This week may you receive grace to walk and work worthy of the Lord in Jesus name.

Happy New Month

“Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.” II Chronicles 20:22

Have you ever been in a situation that looks as though the entire world is against you, and the information you need for liberation is not forthcoming? All successful people in life have their fair share of such; what differentiates those who succeed from those that fail, is their response to their trying times.

Jehoshaphat, King of Judah was faced with a terrible situation; three nations coming against him and his people to utterly destroy them – nations more sophisticated than they were, but in the midst of their challenge, Jehoshaphat and his subjects received an information with instruction that sounds illogical, and today’s scripture is an obedience to that instruction. It is a standard practice to engage in warfare with sophisticated weapons, of course, superior fire powers than that of your adversaries when you have effectively measured what they’ve got in their armory. In this case, God instructed Judah to engage in singing and praising Him, that spelt doom for the enemies and became the victory of Judah.

Praise is a massive weapon in the arsenal of those who understand it and effectively engage it. You move God to act when you praise; you don’t know what you miss every time you are not in praise and worship session in Church. Today, fan your praise life to flame and watch the enemies associated with this month come under your feet. WELCOME to MONTH JUNE 2017!
