My daddy was more or less like an orphan, lost everyone in his
family before he was 10 years old. His uncle sold all his inheritance,
squandered the money without giving him a penny but my daddy was
faithful to God and hard working, and today he is being celebrated.
Some years back if anyone should tell
him that he will be in USA for celebration and enjoyment, he will
definitely denied it. There was a time when he was working with a rich
and notable man in Osun state; this man traveled abroad at least
once per year but never took my daddy along with him but today my daddy
is being celebrated in USA.
My daddy is a faithful and caring father
that cares for his children. I could remember when I was in a primary school a
teacher beat me up and gave me a mark but when I got home and explained to
my daddy, he followed me to school and addressed the teacher according
to law. There was also a time when one of his children had issue at
university of Ife, and he was able to handle. He always encourage us to attend the family meeting of the Arimoros whenever is being observe so that we can be equipped with our history.
My daddy has always been giving
to God , his family and society at large. I thank God for giving him
grace to be faithful to my mummy, God has been sustaining their
marriage for at least 55 years now, and I bless His holy name for this.
